This cut and polished Dugway is from Juab County, Utah. It exhibits a soft blue-gray lining covered with druzy/. These geodes originally formed in volcanic (rhyolite) ash deposits as gas pockets filled with chalcedony and quartz. About 14,000 to 6,000 years ago, ancient Lake Bonneville eroded the volcanic ash deposit, and re-deposited the now-geodes nearby.
